What Are Plots And Structures?
Plot is the main story, or arc of a novel, story, or screenplay; the arc or plot of a story line is structured by:
Exposition, or introduction of the main characters, hero, opponent, allies, premise, and normal world.
Rising Action, the hero wants something and seeks it for his well being while in danger.
Climax, the plot point of greatest danger, psychological or physical, and highest emotion.
Falling Action, or resolution of all plot danger and crisis.
Aftermath, or denouement, what happens afterward, and return to the normal world.
Structure of the plot, or plot Structure is what carries the story forward
